Service Advisor / Assistant Manager

The Service Advisor / Assistant Manager position is the customer advocate for all automotive service matters. It will be your job to listen to, and understand, the customer's needs and concerns and arrange for an accurate diagnosis while ensuring that the proposed service solution appropriately matches the customer's needs and concerns. In addition to continually striving to earn repeat business by delivering high-quality repair work in accordance with the honest and accurate estimate, the Service Advisor / Assistant Manager will also participate in interacting with a team of repair technicians to meet all customer quality expectations.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

- Greet our customers with a sincerely helpful attitude
- Listen carefully to the customer's concerns and needs, then promptly arrange for vehicle service
- Scheduling appointments, while maintaining an organized and balanced schedule
- Perform a professional walk-around of the customer's vehicle
- Develop a repair estimate based upon the technician's diagnosis and upsell as necessary
- Monitor the service/repair action and keep the customer informed of the progress
- Handle payment transactions
- Perform "customer follow-up courtesy calls" to ensure that the service performed met the customer's satisfaction expectations
- Demonstrate behaviors consistent with the company's vision, mission, and values in all interactions with the customers, co-workers and suppliers
- Resolve customer complaints, if needed
- Maintain a clean organized work area.
- Continuously learn new technical information and techniques in order to stay abreast with rapidly changing technology
- Other duties as needed
