Downtown Decatur
I had an issue with my vehicles radiator as it blew. Neighborhood Tire pros said they could assist with this issue and they'd need to complete diagnostics before they could provide me a quote. I was thankful they were open as it was a Saturday right before all mechanic shops tend to close up for the weekend. My diagnostic report was very troubling... brakes depleted, axle damaged and leaking, radiator blew, thermostat needed to be replaced, tubing, etc. Cindy quoted me $1700 for a non-OEM radiator, thermostat and hose change on a >2010 Toyota Vehicle. I thought that was very very expensive. They tried to get me to also get a complete brake change as they were less than 1mm. I took it to the Toyota dealership in Chamblee and was quoted $1100 for an OEM Radiator, and their diagnostic identified a thermo stat and hose wasn't necessary for the fix. They also had no reports on the brakes being wore thin, nor did they notice or find any issue with the axle as the Neighborhood Tire Pros diagnostic found. I was very upset as I went to Neighborhood Tire Pros for my tires last year, and really enjoyed the service, haste and prices. But now I really do not know what to think about this shop. I am beyond disappointed as I feel as though they were not being honest. I hope maybe this review can help.
