Needed to get a new set of tires on a 2015 GTI before a trip for the holidays. Took a couple hours but everything seemed reasonable. They told me it needed an alignment, which I had them go ahead and do so the new tires wouldn't wear improperly. Things that have happened since then: * TPMS sensors went off for all the wheels at once. I checked the pressures and reset the system myself, even though they charged me a $25 TPMS service fee that's supposed to include a system reset. * I noticed the day after service, the car was pulling to the right and I had to keep the steering wheel about 5 degrees to the left to keep it straight. Had to leave for a trip that day so ended up driving several hundred miles like this. * During those several hundred miles, the car shook like a massage chair when I got over 65mph. * When I got back in town and called them on a Saturday, they told me they couldn't get it in that day. They're closed on Sunday and Monday was New Years Eve. They said they'd be open though and I could bring it in any time. When I arrived at 1pm (they're typically open till 6:30 and didn't tell me any different on the phone) they told me they were closing at 3pm and to bring it back Wednesday. * Finally dropped it off Wednesday morning before work. Spent more money on Ubers back and forth. When I came back to get the car they just told me that they rebalanced the wheels and the alignment was a little bit off. No attempt to offer any sort of reconciliation for the alignment or wheel balance that they messed up at the original appointment. Learned my lesson. I'll spend the extra $15 per tire to go to Discount Tire next time.
