I've seen a lot of negative reviews here, but I have not experienced any of the overselling or dishonesty that others have written about. I took my 11-year-old Infiniti in for work I knew I needed done (from previous inspections), and the service was very friendly and informative. I was called before they started additional services (tire rotation and replacement), and shown on the old tires where the wear was. Basically, I was given the evidence for what they said needed to be done. Bottom line: I came in with a list of needed services, and they were a great place to do it for me. Their prices definitely saved me about $300 over the local Inifiti dealer.

If you need a simple diagnostic DO NOT! take your car here! These people will rob you. I was charged $89 for them to simply look at my car and tell me what is wrong with it. It would have cost more but since I am an AAA member I was given a "discount". My car would not crank so I had to get it towed which is the only reason I let my car be serviced by these crooks instead of having to have it towed again to another location and shop. There are places that will do this service for a lot cheaper and with better quality I'm sure. This is my 1st car and 1st experience of this kind. I blame myself as well for not knowing better, but now I do so lesson learned. I will never do business with these people again, nor would I ever recommend them to someone unless I really and sincerely hated that person.

My son goes in for his first oil change (in his life) in his new car and forgets to present the $8.00 coupon. So he comes back later to ask for the credit and they said no. I guess it's his bad luck. But he has been advised not to go back. Try Honest Car Care where if you forget your coupon, they still trust you enough to honor it. After consideration, BP saw the errors of it's ways and went above and beyond to make it right. They gave my son a credit for the entire oil change. While I think a full refund was unnecessary, they did what they felt was the right thing to do. They were responsive and my son says 'thank you'.

5/14/2014: They changed the oil in my car and added too many quarts, thus leading to a leak in the engine 6/3/2014: Still leaking oil. My car has never, ever had an oil leak before I brought it here. I took the car in to their shop at their request after they read my review. After putting my car on the lift, they claim the leak is not their doing. Okay, in 6 years it's never had an oil leak, but immediately after I have you change the oil I have a leak. It must be magic. July 2014: (This update was posted to Yelp, which was taken down by Yelp admins stating my review contained no new firsthand experience. I posted this review update after David, the owner of Avondale Tire & Service) asked me to take down my previous review since they didn't damage my car.) So, I took the car in at David's request and they claimed the oil pan gasket is leaking, which, "Has nothing to do with the work performed." They said it would cost $343 to fix. I didn't trust them, so I took it to My Favorite Mechanic, who has done fantastic work for me in the past. I was told the front crankshaft seal was leaking on the car. I asked if overfilling the oil could cause this problem and was told it could definitely cause this, since it was an older car. Thank you so much Avondale Tire & Service for causing $1200 worth of damage to my car. I know you won't help. I know you're not going to fix this. You have claimed several times you "really looked at the car" and you guys didn't cause any problems. You did.
