I've been to this place twice now and had awesome experiences both times. Their staff was honest about what I needed and recommended repairs for areas of concerns, but didn't push anything on me and kept it affordable. They're also kind, worked quickly, and have wifi to use while you wait! I'm absolutely going back here for tires and additional work soon.

I can always count on these guys to do a great job on my Honda Civic. Prices are fair, repair times are short (so far always within 1 day) and I never feel like someone is trying to push something on me that isn't necessary. Glad they are in the neighborhood!

5/14/2014: They changed the oil in my car and added too many quarts, thus leading to a leak in the engine 6/3/2014: Still leaking oil. My car has never, ever had an oil leak before I brought it here. I took the car in to their shop at their request after they read my review. After putting my car on the lift, they claim the leak is not their doing. Okay, in 6 years it's never had an oil leak, but immediately after I have you change the oil I have a leak. It must be magic. July 2014: (This update was posted to Yelp, which was taken down by Yelp admins stating my review contained no new firsthand experience. I posted this review update after David, the owner of Avondale Tire & Service) asked me to take down my previous review since they didn't damage my car.) So, I took the car in at David's request and they claimed the oil pan gasket is leaking, which, "Has nothing to do with the work performed." They said it would cost $343 to fix. I didn't trust them, so I took it to My Favorite Mechanic, who has done fantastic work for me in the past. I was told the front crankshaft seal was leaking on the car. I asked if overfilling the oil could cause this problem and was told it could definitely cause this, since it was an older car. Thank you so much Avondale Tire & Service for causing $1200 worth of damage to my car. I know you won't help. I know you're not going to fix this. You have claimed several times you "really looked at the car" and you guys didn't cause any problems. You did.

I took my Honda to this rip-off shop for a repairs to my air conditioning system. When I asked the service manager what it would cost, he said between $800 and $900. I checked around and made a few phone calls and figured that was a fair price. When I called to check a few days later - actually they never called on the day they promised it would be ready - another desk manager said the final bill was more than $1,100. When I argued, he claimed the other desk manager I dealt with said he told me $1,000. They then said they'd reduce the bill with tax to $950. I pick up my car today and the bill now was $1,035. I will never patronize them again.
