It's really a mixed bag here. The biggest issue is their inability to clearly explain their scheduling. I have been told numerous times on the phone that they don't take appointments. Then, when I arrive, they say they do, but they're booked solid for the next week and a half. So, the only option is to leave your car there first thing in the morning (at 7:30 AM or as close as possible); only under those conditions can they pretty much guarantee they'll get to your car and complete it by 5 PM. But, given that they are booked solid, they can't seem to explain how they magically get your car work done if they are booked solid for the next week and a half. And the promise must fall flat if 25 people show up at 7:30 to leave their car for the day. The woman at the front desk is totally incapable of communicating/explaining how this works. I assume there is some cutoff, e.g., if you are the tenths such person to arrive, too bad, you're out of luck. But she doesn't even tell you this, so you could conceivably be tricked into thinking your car will be fixed only to find out too many other people got there before you. If you're OK with this unsolved mystery and its inherent risk, then it's a good place close to home! I can walk to my office a few blocks away and spend the day there as my car is serviced. Another issue recently happened when they replaced my front brake pads and left some type of heat shied in place which led my to car making a strange noise as soon as I drove off the lot. Should never have happened. You DO get free air in your tires (not sure if they really know whether you've purchased their tires or not), but sometimes it takes 15 minutes for them to open the door after you've called them from your car. I split my work between 3 different places based on the prices I'm quoted. I absolutely despise Curry Honda, but they had a special on brake pads recently, so I had my back ones done there. Never again! And they don't seem to understand why I show up there only once every 2-3 years (it takes that long to recover from the bad experiences I have with them).
D.J., we're very sorry to hear you've had negative experiences surrounding scheduling of service at our Decatur location, and we're hoping to will connect with our Operations Manager, Elvis, so that he may gather more details about your communications with members of our team. If you're willing, please call him at 404-809-3975. He hopes to hear from you soon.
