I took my Honda pilot in to have the oil changes at Honda Carland In Roswell. They told me the threads had been stripped on the oil pan plug and they cannot get it to stop leaking. The last times my oil had been changed at this the BP Station on Johnson Ferry Road. Of course Honda dealers will not fix the threads stripped in an oil pan. Honda dealers will only replace an oil pan which is around $500.00. So I managed to get it stopped enough to get it home and now I having to take it to another shop that will have to re threaded to another size plug. This BP Station is the last place that I had been using to change my oil and they striped the threads out by over tightening the oil plug. I guess good help is hard to fine. For 40 years I changed my on oil, in trucks, cars and tractors and never did I ever over tighten and strip an oil plug. So here is a little old rhyme that maybe this BP station can use to help them with training their challenged help “Righty tighty, Lefty loosey” that the way your turn the oil drain plug. I won’t be using them again for an oil change.

I have taken my Sequoia, BMW and now 4Runner here and they do quick work with my oil changes and check ups. Honest recommendations about service that should be done. No intimidation just pointing out the facts to let me make a decision. (I had done my own work on my vehicles for 20years - this is much better)

I went there for an oil change just one day before thanksgiving last year. I asked the technicians to also changed out my fog lights. That day they were pretty busy, I understand. However, they didn't change my fog light. I asked them did they change the fog light. They said no they haven't. I spent another hour waiting for my fog light to be changed and still didn't get it change because they were still waiting on a delivery of the fog light from another store. I got a bit upset because they kept saying the delivery will be here in a few minutes but ended up it had never delivered. So I left. Well, as soon as I drove out of that place. I started to notice the noise when I was driving around 55-60mph. I started to slow down to 50 mph and the noise was gone. After that day, I drove my car on highway. Around 60mph, it started making noises. It scares the crap out of me. So about a week later, when I was available to drive my car from kennesaw to this BP Car Care Shop, I told them what was wrong with my car. They remembered me and said they will take a look. I asked them to test drive my car may be so they might know what was wrong with my car. They didn't do it because they said the technicians who specialize in fixing cars had to be the one that test drive the car. I was like okay, it made sense. But then they said the technicians won't be here two hours later. I was like wow what? okay then. Well, the oil change technicians and the manager were telling me that it had to be my axle problems. Something leaking from my car's axle. I was like.. but it made noises when I was just driving straight. They didn't listen nor trying to help finding what went wrong. They just kept working on other cars and just left my car in the garage. They said they couldn't help or do anything without the actual technicians to take a look at it. I was like wow, only thing I did was just oil change. My car didn't make any noises until I brought my car in to do the oil change that day and yet they didn't try or help or responsible for anything that had done to my car. So I was even more upset and left. I had to drive through local roads with no more than 30mph because if I drove any faster, it made a very very very loud sound. And I drove almost 20miles back to my house with that noises that they couldn't take a look or even try to fix. I told my dad about it. He went out and looked under the car. He said there's something hanging down just right below my AC unit. I wasn't sure what was the term for it because I know nothing about car parts. But all he did was, he went and bought some screws and put it back. And there it was, it fixed. No more noises. I was so thankful to my dad. He's not even specializes in fixing cars. He's just a regular guy working at a company. But he was able to fix it. I was really mad at these oil change tech and the manager who couldn't do anything nor trying to help fixing my car. I live up in Kennesaw and I always took my car there to do oil change because I used to trust them. Their old team like a year or two years ago was so much better than current technicians. These people know nothing about cars other than do the simple oil change. I will never go back there even if the manager would like to hear about me more. Just saying, don't bother look up my name in the system and tried to find out what happened because what was done is done. I'm not going back to you guys anymore.
