Well, almost 3 months and $5000 later, car still isn't fixed. Long story short - They weren't 100% sure what was causing my issue, charged me $3000 to fix a variety of parts to potentially solve it, including putting in a right front axel at the start. Get the car back, a knocking sound suddenly appears. 3 months later, after repeatedly trying to solve the problem thinking it was something else, they tell me they noticed the axel is the wrong kind and claim they think it was the dealer we bought it from in 2016 who put it in. They claimed to try multiple new axels, knocking noise persisted, so they threw in the towel and suggested getting a new car. Took it to the dealer, they say it's the axel and want $1k to replace it. Throw in about $1k in rental car fees while dealing with this, and here we are. Congrats, I now hate my car. Good for oil changes, but I wouldn't recommend them for heavy work.
