If you need a simple diagnostic DO NOT! take your car here! These people will rob you. I was charged $89 for them to simply look at my car and tell me what is wrong with it. It would have cost more but since I am an AAA member I was given a "discount". My car would not crank so I had to get it towed which is the only reason I let my car be serviced by these crooks instead of having to have it towed again to another location and shop. There are places that will do this service for a lot cheaper and with better quality I'm sure. This is my 1st car and 1st experience of this kind. I blame myself as well for not knowing better, but now I do so lesson learned. I will never do business with these people again, nor would I ever recommend them to someone unless I really and sincerely hated that person.

My son goes in for his first oil change (in his life) in his new car and forgets to present the $8.00 coupon. So he comes back later to ask for the credit and they said no. I guess it's his bad luck. But he has been advised not to go back. Try Honest Car Care where if you forget your coupon, they still trust you enough to honor it. After consideration, BP saw the errors of it's ways and went above and beyond to make it right. They gave my son a credit for the entire oil change. While I think a full refund was unnecessary, they did what they felt was the right thing to do. They were responsive and my son says 'thank you'.

5/14/2014: They changed the oil in my car and added too many quarts, thus leading to a leak in the engine 6/3/2014: Still leaking oil. My car has never, ever had an oil leak before I brought it here. I took the car in to their shop at their request after they read my review. After putting my car on the lift, they claim the leak is not their doing. Okay, in 6 years it's never had an oil leak, but immediately after I have you change the oil I have a leak. It must be magic. July 2014: (This update was posted to Yelp, which was taken down by Yelp admins stating my review contained no new firsthand experience. I posted this review update after David, the owner of Avondale Tire & Service) asked me to take down my previous review since they didn't damage my car.) So, I took the car in at David's request and they claimed the oil pan gasket is leaking, which, "Has nothing to do with the work performed." They said it would cost $343 to fix. I didn't trust them, so I took it to My Favorite Mechanic, who has done fantastic work for me in the past. I was told the front crankshaft seal was leaking on the car. I asked if overfilling the oil could cause this problem and was told it could definitely cause this, since it was an older car. Thank you so much Avondale Tire & Service for causing $1200 worth of damage to my car. I know you won't help. I know you're not going to fix this. You have claimed several times you "really looked at the car" and you guys didn't cause any problems. You did.

No complaints from me - these guys have been taking good care of me for 5 years now. Not the cheapest place around, but always dependable and honest when it comes to what's needed and what's a "nice to have".

Recently had my radiator changed and they did a fantastic job even price matched my regular mechanic that's 15 miles away so saved me a longer trip.

Last week I brought my 2011 GMC Acadia in to have a wheel alignment done. I had just picked my vehicle up from the service department of a certain Chevrolet dealership in Buford. The dealership had just replaced the steering rack and pinion. They highly recommended me purchasing a $100 wheel alignment in addition even though I told them setting the toe is part of the job and should not be billed separate. They claimed they did not perform that necessary task, so I said I would take it somewhere else. Enter Neighborhood Tire Pros; Not only did the managers, Kyle and Jason treat me courteously and patiently, they matched the best price in town. Even better, is that they examined my vehicle immediately and showed that the dealership had already done the work which they billed to the warranty company and was now trying to get me to pay for so that they could charge double. I was in and out in less than 20 minutes. Kyle and Jason have earned my loyalty as a customer indefinitely due to their integrity, professionalism, and courtesy!
