The night before Christmas Eve I got a nail in my tire. The morning of Christmas Eve I took my car in to have the tire repaired. I explained the problem. I also confirmed they were familiar with Tesla’s since they require a special lift and the tires have acoustic foam in them. They said they were familiar. Christmas saved! Several hours later I went to pick up the car. I was then told that they could not repair the tire because of the foam! Now I had no time to take it elsewhere! Christmas fail! Bah Humbug! The service people were polite but it would have been much better if they informed me up front that they cannot repair this type of tire, especially since I confirmed they could.
