It could have turned out so differently: 1)...if I'd been given a fair quote for rear struts replacement they discovered as "necessary" when removing my tires to put on the new tires I was there to buy. The estimate was much higher than average, and it was insulting, once again, to be treated as a 2nd class customer just because I'm a woman. We have the internet now, and I looked it up. 2)...if they had treated me like a real person and acknowledged what was going on from my point of view, and helped me with options on how to proceed, for example 3)...if they had advised me to get the struts done first, instead of buying new tires, which was the original reason I had booked an appointment. If I'd been given a fare price on the surprise job, if they'd suggested that I get the struts done instead, and if they'd sympathized with my situation instead of insultingly shrugging it off, then I'd still be a future prospect for tire sales. Then I was charged $62 for tire balancing. That $62 was not worth it to you. At it is, I will never go back.
