I have used this service station many a time for routine oil changes. Today, my new Honda Fit was making a terrible clacking noise as I was driving down 400S, commuting home from work at around 430. Had visions of having to rent a car because there'd be some terrible problem. Called ahead of time to let the guys know I was coming. I even stopped on the way home to see if there was anything dragging underneath the car and couldn't see a thing. As soon as I walked into the store and described the problem, one of the service men immediately identified the problem, which was that the oil pan had become unsecured. He put it up on the lift, replaced the screws, checked the pan, all within about 15 minutes. They didn't even charge me for this service. I can't remember the name of the guy that helped me but he was very friendly and had beautiful blue eyes. Anyway, after being freaked out about there being something terribly wrong with my car and driving home 56 miles from Dawsonville, listening to that intermittent clanging, it sure was nice to have the problem fixed so efficiently and with such friendly and professional service.

I called about tires for my Audi and was told the shop would price-match with Tire Rack, an online tire site. Made a deal that I was to pay the online price and the cost that I would have paid for shipping the tires to the local facility for installation. When I arrived the next morning to have the tires installed, was given a higher price. Objected and asked why and was told the shipping costs were $38.00 per tire even though I had seen online what shipping would be and knew that was an inflated number. Essentially, this place was trying to con me into paying another $80+ above the deal they had agreed to on the phone the previous day. My recommendation: find another tire store, one that won't try the bait-and-switch.

I've seen a lot of negative reviews here, but I have not experienced any of the overselling or dishonesty that others have written about. I took my 11-year-old Infiniti in for work I knew I needed done (from previous inspections), and the service was very friendly and informative. I was called before they started additional services (tire rotation and replacement), and shown on the old tires where the wear was. Basically, I was given the evidence for what they said needed to be done. Bottom line: I came in with a list of needed services, and they were a great place to do it for me. Their prices definitely saved me about $300 over the local Inifiti dealer.

If you need a simple diagnostic DO NOT! take your car here! These people will rob you. I was charged $89 for them to simply look at my car and tell me what is wrong with it. It would have cost more but since I am an AAA member I was given a "discount". My car would not crank so I had to get it towed which is the only reason I let my car be serviced by these crooks instead of having to have it towed again to another location and shop. There are places that will do this service for a lot cheaper and with better quality I'm sure. This is my 1st car and 1st experience of this kind. I blame myself as well for not knowing better, but now I do so lesson learned. I will never do business with these people again, nor would I ever recommend them to someone unless I really and sincerely hated that person.

Decatur Tire & Services LLC, gained me as a customer and lost me as one in the same day. I specifically asked for my vehicle to get an oil change and spark plug replacement. 2 hours later, my car is ready. As I go to pay the bill, I noticed it looked kinda low for the services I asked for. I asked the customer rep did they replace my spark plugs, he told me no, they only changed the oil. He didn't apologize for for the mechanics forgetting to change my spark plugs or offer to take my vehicle back into the shop to finish the services I asked for. So I basically waited 2 hours for an oil change. That is poor business and I will not be back.

I took my '93 Toyota Corolla 320K miles to get a Summer Car Care package for $40. The guys were very pleasant and estimated the work to be done ~1 hour. I was out in about 45 minutes. They came back and recommended 2 new tires (which I knew I needed) and fuel injector cleaning. I declined with no pressure for the techs. I did get a complement for having the car running very well with so many miles. I'll be going back to these guys again!

My wife and I had a good experience here. They aligned our little Aveo's wheels, but the car still pulled a bit to the right. We took it back the same day and they were able to determine that the old tires were causing the car to pull, because they were worn wrong by the bad alignment. They gave us a great deal on the tires and now the car drives great. I am happy with the result. Her tire's were over 3 yrs old and needed changing soon, and the original pull on the vehicle was very strong.
