Scratch another decent place off the list. Advertised one price for an oil change, charged more, acknowledged they overcharged and didn’t offer to refund the difference. Oh well. Update - after I left, they did refund $25, more than the difference. I appreciate that and can offer that they have done acceptable work for years, even if their pricing on oil changes might be a bit dodgy, though I guess they are competitive with other shops. That said, they are charging $10 per quart for oil that retails at $3, but charging almost nothing for their employees time in the detailed invoice. I’m still confused by someone telling me the wrong price is right, and saying “I’m sure this is what you always pay” even when it doesn’t match the listed price on their price sheet.
Thank you for your feedback, Daniel. We sincerely apologize for any miscommunication regarding the price of your oil change. Our pricing is based on the average vehicle, and we do charge extra for vehicles that require additional oil due to the higher number of quarts. We understand how this could have been frustrating and regret that this wasn’t clearly communicated. Thank you for bringing this to our attention.
